We make internal steel doors and glazed screens in the Crittall style, in standard W20 steel profiles: slim black lines between kitchens, halls and living rooms, drawn to your opening, matt black or any RAL colour. For external doors in the steel look we offer aluminium in the steel style.
What we make
Internal glazed screens and doors between rooms: single and double doors, fixed screens, and screens with a door and fanlight. Glazing bar layouts are drawn to your opening, and handles and hinges are chosen with you.
External doors in the steel look
Our steel range is for internal use. For French doors and garden doors with the same thin black lines we offer aluminium in the steel style.
How it works
Send the opening: sizes, a few photos or the architect's drawings, by email or through the form. We draw it to the opening and send a fixed price, usually within 48 hours. We then measure on site and you sign the workshop drawings before anything is made. After manufacture we deliver and fit, and leave the site clean.
Who we are
WDL Windows Doors London is the window and door side of Pro Building Contractors Limited, a London building company with about 25 years of experience in extensions, loft conversions and renovations, mostly for architects. Our projects have been featured in The Times and 25 Beautiful Homes. We work across West and South-West London, Central London and the Home Counties.

How much do Crittall-style internal steel doors cost in London?
From £695 per m² + VAT (£834 including VAT). As an example, a screen of about 2.4 × 2.4 m starts from about £4,000 + VAT (£4,800 inc. VAT). The final price depends on the layout, doors and glass, and we price each opening from the drawing.
How long do steel doors take?
From 12 weeks after you sign the workshop drawings.
Are your steel doors for inside or outside?
Inside. Our steel doors and screens are internal, in standard W20 profiles. For external doors in the steel look we offer aluminium in the steel style.
Can you make internal steel screens between rooms?
Yes. Glazed steel partitions and doors between kitchens, halls and living rooms are the core of our steel work.
Do you fit as well as supply?
Yes. We survey the opening, make the steel and fit it with our own team across London.
